Who cannot be excited for this guy. In his first start as a pro, the surprise second round pick, Josh “Jorts” Harrellson recorded a double-double, registering 14 and 12 with 4 three-pointers. Jorts is quickly transitioning from a fan favorite down in Lexington, Kentucky, to the same exact role under the bright lights of the big city in the NBA. There is no doubt that New York City is quickly falling in love with Jorts, and I am interested to see the reception he gets back at the Garden this week. Willing to do the dirty work, Harrellson is also showing off a nice stroke from 3-point land, which should only get better with time. An old-school player on the court, Jorts is also a fun, loving man off of it. It seems his teammates have taken a strong liking to him, always jumping out of their seats whenever he makes a play. It should only be a matter of time until we see #55 jerseys roaming around the MSG crowd, with myself having to possibly be one of them.
